DanceSafe is a 501(c)(3) public health nonprofit founded in 1998 that promotes health and safety both inside and outside of nightlife and festival communities. We’re here because we believe in the transformative power of people caring about other people and that every event should have the tools and resources to keep its community healthy and thriving.

DanceSafe understands that each event and community is unique. We partner closely with organizers to customize our service plans to reflect their values, comfort levels, and community needs. Any substance screening services are adapted collaboratively and handled confidentially, ensuring mutual trust and respect among all stakeholders.

Get Involved.
We are a passionate group of volunteers who believe that harm reduction and evidence based education saves lives. To get started, take the DanceSafe Training Course and pass the test at the end. You’ll then be connected with us and given access to volunteer resources.
